What is OCR?

OCR stands for Optical Character Recognition and it uses the phones camera to bring in characters from anything within the photo to create a searchable catalog of that photo. For example if you take a picture of a container number our OCR technology will automatically make the characters into a searchable field on your web dashboard. Our OCR system can also recognize handwriting, for instance on a Bill of Lading or POD allowing our customers to add documents into each and every event, having a single space to record all of the data for that particular event.
